Course Description
Flight Dispatcher initial training involves a combination of
engaging lectures, videotaped presentations, and computer based training (CBT)
exam preparation. This course specifically targets participants with or without
prior aviation experience, and qualifies them to sit for the Nigerian Civil
Aviation Authority’s Flight Dispatcher written examination. This may be
conducted either as an integrated/composite or in parts (BASIC/and ADVANCE).
Applicants however must complete the advance course syllabus before being presented to the authority for the license examination after successfully passing the IAC mock examination.
1. IAC will admit applicants for its Flight Dispatcher
initial course as ab-initio after meeting the following requirements:
I.
Age: A candidate must not be less than 21 years
old at the time of enrollment.
II.
Educational Qualification: Minimum of
WASC/NECO/O’LEVEL, with at least five (5) credits, which must include English.
III. A candidate must pass the IAC pre-selection interview comprising of aptitude test and oral interview.
